1957 : 1957 Company established
IE started with design and manufacture of Radio Sets, Radiograms, Hi-Fi Audio Systems, Public Address Systems for large halls (upto 10,000 seating capacity).

1961 : Applied for Oscilloscope Manufacturing License

1966 : Received the Oscilloscope License

1966-68 : Type 10-12U 4.5 MHz Oscilloscope free running general purpose

1968-70 : Type IE-15 15MHz Oscilloscope with Calibrated Vertical & Timebase
The scope was generally similar to Tektronix 516 and was INDIA's first scope using rectangular CRT with 6x10cms display. The first unit was sold to VJTI Bombay

1972-75 : TV Tuner with Electronic Tuning developed first time in India
Hybrid TV set with 3 IC's developed first time in India

1975-76 : 15MHz Oscilloscope operating at 10KV -20deg to +55 deg to JSS 55555 specs developed first time in India, 70 nos supplied to Defence
Oscilloscope Calibrator developed for Defence Inspection

1977-80 : Constant Amplitude RF Source developed and BRAND manufactured for PHILIPS
AM Signal Generator with Digital Readout developed and BRAND manufactured for PHILIPS on black box concept

1980-81 : IE-369 TV Sweep Generator - India's first Sweep Generator, used by 100's of Small Scale TV manufacturers and Educational Institutions.
Introduced a series of Single & Dual Trace Oscilloscopes which were marketed thru MELTRON a Maharashtra State Government Organization.

1982 : IE-459 Sweep Generator System with Plug-ins for PHILIPS service centers. System is unique in that plug-ins covered Audio Sweep, AM/FM Radio Sweep, TV IF & RF Sweep - with Markers.

1982-85 : 20MHz Ultra portable Oscilloscopes - IE-45 & IE-405 Dual Trace Oscilloscopes were introduced which would fit in an office brief case
IE-1044 and IE-1035 Colour TV pattern Generators, developed first time in India

1985-87 : IE-900A 110MHz AM/FM Signal Generator with Counter was introduced
IE-234 30MHz Oscilloscope with built-in counter and delayed sweep was introduced

1987-89 : IE-504 20MHz STORAGE Oscilloscope, developed first time in India
IE-9 20MHz PowerScope with differential floating input.

IE-495W 240MHz Wobbuloscope (sweep generator) with Synthesized Markers, developed first time in India - supplied in 100's to World Bank funded Educational Institutions

1989-90 : IE-522 20MS/s DSO with direct Hardcopy via centronics interface & FFT Analysis and Waveform Processing Software on PC via RS232 interface - India's first and only indigenously developed DSO.
IE-531 5MHz DSO with Digital X-Y Storage

1991 : IE-837W 860MHz Wobbuloscope with Synthesized Markers - India's first and only indigenously developed 860MHz Wobbuloscope.

1992 : IE-567 25MHz DigiTestLab (10 in 1) comprising of:
